Peruzzi (Tobechukwu Victor Okoh) is a Nigerian singer and song writer under the Davido Music Worldwide record label and also signed to GoldenBoy Entertainment. He was born on 5th December in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria. Peruzzi started music at the age of 7 when his father bought him a keyboard. According to the singer, he sacrificed his medical study at a Ukrainian university in order to pursue a musical career. The singer lost his mother at an early age which he sometimes reminisces about. Peruzzi drew public criticism when he slapped a Nigerian social media influencer for comparing him with Teni, another Nigerian singer. However, he has apologized for his action. Peruzzi's 2018 single Majesty, off his Heartwork EP eventually became a Hit after a scintillating video which featured 2018 Big Brother Naija runner up Cee-c; gave the song an extra flavor. The video was directed by Dammy Twitch. Prior to the success of Majesty, the singer had been maligned by many social media users in Nigeria who claimed the singer only shines on featured songs, however that notion is fast changing with listeners now respecting the artist for his lyrical prowess. He featured onTu face's hit song "Amaka".
